Epsom CC 25 - 30 September

Dave Hickman reports:

I signed off my season today with a 1.1.14 in the Epsom 25 on the Crawley course. It was a bit chilly and there was a nagging headwind of the first 10 miles so not able to get under the hour this season after getting close last week. (always the same on this course - what I lose in the first 10 miles (26 mins) I never can claw back.
Richard Weatherstone did a 59.39 so we both went back by the same margin from last week. I was happy with that considering the lard I am still carrying. Winner did a 52 so still a long way to go!

Stu can relax as I would have needed to do a 58 or so for the BAR. There was never any danger of that!

SCCU 25 including Club Championship 25 - Sunday 9 September

Stuart takes yet another Cup - while Andy strikes unlucky again

Iain Hawthorne reports :
Well, for those that were there, the morning was a stunner. Four Old Ports contested the club's 25TT trophy in the SCCU 25, allputting in PBs in a mighty effort to take the club honours. But,more importantly, has one of us earned a new nickname....????

The morning was cool, overcast and little wind; with a total field of 89 riders registered. The OP's were represented by Stuart, GaryBryant, Iain and 'Unlucky'...sorry, Andy Green....

To cut to the chase, Stuart finished his improving season with a PB of 58.42 and for the first time has gone under the hour!!!! Major congratulations to Stuart as Gary was a very close second at 58.50 -

Stuart therefore takes the trophy by 8 seconds; he also came 10thoverall in the field. I rode for only my second time on the course and managed 1.00.50 winning the handicap competition by 5 minutes after my handicap of 22 minutes (!) was taken off. Stuart came third.

Now, Andy....talk about the unluckiest guy in the club....after crossing the finishing line in an 'official' 1.02.27 for a PB, thetime keeper (was it Don?...not sure) didn't see him and was actually still waiting out on the course for Andy to finish about half an hour later - while Andy was in the 'club house' enjoying a nice cup of tea. So, after pointing this out to the organisers, they called Don and he duly arrived to allow Andy a time according to his own watch timer. Andy went something around 10 seconds faster he thinks than the time he's been given. Whilst he didn't get lost/fall off and we have a 'Lucky' in the club, it appears we now have an 'Unlucky'.

So, Stuart takes yet another trophy off the mighty Bashers this
year and is muttering about the BAR too...???

G10/42 - 1st September

Time trials are supposed to take place in very early hours of the morning not the afternoon, my bike is called a stealth and stealth missions dont happen at 3.30pm. Well what a wonderful day only to be spoilt by a TT. I thought it would be nice to cycle the 22 miles to the event which was very pleasent indeed and then I did the race. The weather was fine, not much of a wind and not too hot, just a pitty I was not feeling it today. I got a stitch early on and never recovered, can't even use the car on the roundabout to justify my time. I came in with a twenty hmmm hmmm. Gary put a very good time in especially as it was his first of the season 22.48 He didn't quite get you Ian but there is always next week. Gary I spoke to your wife and we have decided you do not have a pass out for next weekend (unless you plan on getting lost again), sorry.

Winner : C Yates 20.53
Gary Bryant : 22:48
Stuart 23.58 (best forgot!)

August 2007

Alton CC H25/8 - 26th August

Andy PB's

Took a step into the unknown with this course on the Hampshire/Surrey border near Bentley. I chose it based on a recommendation from Oz, and who am I to doubt the master.

The course is ideal for me, up and down the A31 with no getting lost options. With fewer roundabouts and draggy climbs than Broadbridge Heath I was hoping for a good time.I had for some reason aquired the number 30, so I was determind to not get caught.

A mild clear morning promised good things, though driving the course before hand I did note that while there were no long climbs it was lumpy in places.

Once I got going I realised there was a sharp cross wind that was making life difficult, and it was feeling like a bit of a slog. In the end I caught about 6 riders and did avoid bing caught myself. I came in with a new pb of 1.03.39. Laurence Harding won with a 53.04,and the fastest woman was Helen Rickman with 1.03.20.General consensus was that this was a slow day on this course.

I would recommend it to any Old Ports in the Croydon area as it is easy to get to, and on its day a good bit quicker than the G courses. And it makes a nice change.

Andy (still 4)

Anerly BC 50 - 12th August

3 good rides:

Three Old Ports rode this event on the usual Horsham course (G50/53) and it was a calm morning although the wind did pick up later on.

Stuart Hourigan did a great ride and another PB with a 2.02.39 for 26th place from about 80 starters . I did a 2.06.17 - (around 34th) (and a vets plus of 25.49 Ian). Andy Green also did a PB with a 2.08.55 and was well pleased adding to his full set of PBs this season including his inaugural 100 last month. Well done Andy. Our 25 times en route were - Stuart 1.0.20 , me 1.2.50, Andy 1.3.50ish.

I was hoping to have done a little better than that after last week but its my fastest 50 since about 2000 so thats OK! Oz we saw Jamie Stone again - he did a 2.04.43 - I was chasing him as he was 5 minutes ahead - As usual I lost the time on that climb up Tollgate! 26 minutes for the first 10.

There were a few really quick times - Laurence Harding Agiskoviner did a 1.46 to win! Mike Coyle 1.47!

ECCA 100 - 5 August

'Dangerous' gives it a good go!

Dave Hickman reports:

This was my first 100 since 1996 (apart from climbing off at 30 miles in the Southern Counties event in 2005.) I entered this in a moment of madness.

Bashers and I left my house at 4.25 am and arrived at the HQ near Ugley in Essex around 5.30 ( is it the Ugley Womens Institute or The Womens Institute of Ugley? - I think its the former as this is 'Banjo' country). The Eagle Road club own a big plot of land with a tumbledown HQ - must be worth a fortune - I was last here in the early 80s.

I digress - there was a rumour that the event might be cancelled as the police had blocked a road about 10 miles in. Bashers said 'get that look of hope off your face'.

So I started at 6.14 am with my usual 2 minute warm up and it was pretty good for the first few miles so helpful for morale. The first 12 and last 12 miles is lanes - a bit agricultural - and the rest on the A11/A14 - not bad road surfaces but draggy and there was a rising wind from the south. Took advantage of the fast bits and for a while it was almost like old times.

I did the first 25 in 1.1.50, hit 50 in 2.06.50 , 75 in 3.12.20 (Bash thought I had done 3.06 but I still had a couple of miles to that point) and then the wheels slowly began to fall off and I did the last 25 in about a 1.14. The old back started to ache a lot after 3 hours. The last 8 miles was purgatory into a rising headwind and it seemed a lot of uphill bits - doing 15/16 mph and saw the average speed coming down. Still I recaught a dropped a few riders who had caught me earlier.

I Ended up with 4.26.30. I was pretty happy with the resulteven though I was about 30th -

The winner did 3.55.31 Paul Smith (API Metrow). Other rides of interest to thetesters - Royle Evatt of the Addiscombe did 4.25.30 something. Peter Moon(Eastbourne Rovers) did 4.13 I think and Bob Loader Sydenham 5.20 (age 74) -he's already done the National 24 this season and is doing a 12 later thismonth. Good luck! The 100 is enough pain for me and as Andy said 'one per yearis sufficient'! My split times at 25 and 50 are also faster than I have done fora 25 or 50 this year or in the last couple of seasons.

Many thanks to Bashers for coming out to feed me as I know I would not havestarted otherwise! This also obliged me to make an effort and finish!

July 2007

Southern Counties C.U. 100 mile TT

and Club 100 mile TT Championship

Stuey takes more Silverware!!

Well at 4.30am it was raining quite hard and was very miserable. But by the time Simon and I arrived at the HQ Dial Post Village Hall, Sussex, { we were on feeding duties for the boys }, the rain had almost stopped. By the time the first riders started to make their way to the start line at West Grinstead crossroads on the A24 it had, but the roads were still very wet. Four Old Ports entered, but only three started and finished, the forth wassuffering with a nasty condition that effects male time triallists 'rain-bed-itus'

The three starters were, Chris Ogilvy,Stuart Hourigan and Andy Green. The course is to long to explain other than its twice around the Horsham 25 then some of the Dial Post 50 but with a 10 mile loop in the lanes at the end, after you have ridden past the timekeeper and HQ!. All three of our boys appeared to suffer in the second 25, but all picked it up as the morning went on and the sun came out.

The results are as follows;
Stuart Hourigan 4hrs 35mins 47secs avg 21.76mph
Chris Ogilvy 4hrs 43mins 21secs avg 21.18mph
Andy Green 4hrs 59mins 10secs avg 20.06mph

The winner was Keith Coffey { Bec C.C. } 3hrs 56mins 23secs avg 25.38mph

Very well done to all you guys, especially Stuart and Andy as it was their first ever 100TT

Crawley wheelers 10 G10/57

Andy Green reports

As a little taster for the 100 tomorrow, and to give myself a bench mark for next week I took on the Crawley Wheelers 10 this morning. For whatever reason there seemed to be lots of DNS today, but by recent standards those who made the effort were rewarded with a mild sunny morning. On the return leg we were riding into a stiffish breeze, but apart from that pretty good.

By some quirk of fate (my dodgey handwriting on the entry from!)I was allocated no 75. At the start line no 74 set about intimidating me by explaining that he was 78 years old, the oldest man in the race. But I could not escape noticing that he was also very lean with legs that looked strong. 'please don't catch me before the hill' he said. Yeah right... I was very relieved at around the 3 mile mark to have him inmy sights.

It was only my second open 10 of the year, and last was back in Aprilso had little idea how I was going to go. In the end happy with the24.45 I got, though feel I had more to give.

I was gone before the prize giving but I think all the results were inat teh serious end of the table. It was a close run thing for 1st withKieth Coffey taking it with a 20.34 over Christian Yates 20.35. Fastestwoman i think was D Percival with 25.16.

Southborough and district 25 - 22 July G25/89

Dangerous' best in 2007

This is the course that starts on the Maresfield by pass - A22 - undulating with a lot of drags.( A bit slower usually than the Horsham Course)

I thought I had a good morning for once as there was no wind at the start but it came up during the ride so it was a headwind on the return. Borrox!!

Ended up with 1.3.30 (23.6mph) for 16th place out of 53. OK. Won by Mick Coyle 54.20 and he was 3 mins clear of the rest! If he hadnt turned up my time would have looked better!

Dave

SERC 10 Saturday 21 July
Stuart reports on his PB!!!

The ride was pleasent enough and should have seen me putting in a great time to take Bashers crown. Sorry guys not yet, we can let him stew a little longer. I did manage a PB 22.55 when I left there was a 21 zero something listed but The big boys wereyet to arrive home, we will guess Christian Yates probably won with a long 19 or short 20.

Bec CC 25 Sunday 15 July

Andy Green reports:

There has clearly been an upsurge in interest in TT's as there was a full field with reserves. Two Old Ports turned out for this event on what promised to be yet another wet and windy morning. I was due off at 6.58 with Stuart 7.12, and the rain had mercifully stopped by the time we got going.

Despite suffering man flu Stuart came in at 1.01.37. On a day when fast times were in short supply this was a decent result. I nearly managed to miss my start time, but arrived with 3 seconds to spare and did a PB at 1.05.05. I was just relieved to complete the whole course without getting lost/throwing myself to the floor!

There were a few times to come through when I left but Steve Dennis looked a safe bet as winner with a 52.55. Sarah Lovelock won the womens competition with a 1.03.27.

Bec CC 10, Saturday 8 July

Bashers last of the Season?

Ian Bashford rode perhaps his last event this season prior to his back operation next week. In a kind of "I'll be back!!' statement he handed out a26 second besting of our rising star Stuart - All the best Ian for a successful operation and a speedy recovery.

Bashers reports:

This 10mile TT starts at Rusper Rd, near Roffey, then basically just under 5 miles on the A264 towards Crawley over 5 roundabouts turning at the 6th, Broadfield, then retrace finishing half a mile past Rusper roundabout.
Two Old Ports entered in a field of 115. Ian Bashford and Stuart Hourigan.
The day was good, warm and sunny with a strengthening breeze from the south.
Results
Ian Bashford 22min 45secs avg 26.37mph
Stuart Hourigan 23min 11secs avg 25.88mph

The winner was Gordon McCauley [ Plowman Cravan/Evans RT ] in 19min 43secs avg 30.43mph.

Club Championship 50 - Sun 1 July

Stuart claims his first Club Silverware!

Bashers reports :

As usual we held our club 50 mile Time Trial Championships as part of the SCCU 50 event. This is based on the Horsham 25 course, essentially being two laps of the 25.

With the current bout of wet and windy weathe it wasnt going to be a pleasant day, windy with ' stair rods' rain being expected. Well!, the weather almost dissapointed us, with the rain stopping when the event started at 6am, however Mr Wind had something up his sleeve for us, flexing his muscles with a very unpleasant blow from the SW, making the southbound bits a nightmare for us also rans, why is it the fast boys don't appear to be effected by it? Then he blew in some rain for us on the second 25miles just so as we could say we got rained on I suppose. The course was wet throughout making the many roundabouts trecherous.

Anyway four Old Ports entered, Andy Green, Dave Hickman,Ian Bashford and Stuart Hourigan.

Results

Stuart Hourigan 2hrs 6min 3sec
Ian Bashford 2hrs 8min 42sec
Dave Hickman 2hrs 13min 24sec
Andy Gree DNF (Andy forgot to ride the whole course, missing out the dogleg at Broadbridge Heath)

The OPCC 50mile TT champion for 2007 and the new holder of "The Presidents Challenge Cup" for the coming year Is therefore Stuart Hourigan

Very well done Stuart!!!

The overall winner of the SCCU 50 event was Steve Dennis in 1hr 50min 36sec

June 2007

ESCA 50 18 June - Dave Hickman reports

Bashers and I were representing the club at the ESCA 50 - on the Maresfield
A22 course - basically 2 laps of the 25 course - a few fast bits but lots of
draggy climbs including the last couple of miles which is a bit demoralising if
you are not on top form!

It was dry at the start but we had to ride through several miles of heavy rain - four sodding times !! due to the course layout. result was my new Asoss socks are no longer white!

Bashers was 15th (out of 63 starters) with a 2.07.08 (ave 23.8mph ish) I was somewhat further back with a 2.11.53 (22.8mph) but while Bash was not too happy with his ride I was not expecting miracles and on the day and on this course (a good 5 minutes slower than the Horsham one) I was ok with that. A lot of the seeded riders did not manage much better and only a couple broke 2 hours - the winner did a 1.54 something.

Also it was good to see the OPCC supporters club in the shape of Stuart, Andy, Iain and Oz who had ridden out to have a cuppa at the HQ having done the reliability route (ish ) over the Ashdown. I would have enjoyed that ride more I haven to confess - after 30 odd miles on the tri bars the back does ache a bit! Still all good training.

Dave on a recent evening event

Sussex CA 50 10 June

A debut 50 - Stuart Hourigan reports

Well chaps i've gone and done it, I now have a 50 under my belt. I was up bright and early again, a little too early as I had well over an hour to wait for my start time (I may judge it better next time as I took note of my journey time). Down in Dial Post on the G.50/10 course, a nice rolling course or as it is more affectionately known SPORTING. The weather was as good as could have been wished for.

I set off and caught my minute man by about 7 miles, he then passed me, I passed him, he passed me.. you get the picture, at 23 miles I was just behind him wanting to overtake but also not wanting to blow up whilst trying to avoid his slip stream (difficult on the A24) this promted a warning from one of the marshalls, so I left him again. Once more he passed me until about 40 miles when I finally saw him off.

I was somewhat dissapointed with my ride as I feel I set off a little too slow and never seemed to get into a rythm, also at the end the pain was just not enough (which is wrong). Anyway I posted : 2hr 8min 9sec Winner Steve Dennis : 1hr 49min 31sec (new course record, beats S Yates)

Fastest 10 and 25 of the year!! - Bashers Reports

Hitchin Nomads 25 - Sunday 3 June

The F1/25 course is in Bedfordshire on the A1, it starts in a side road just north of Black cat roundabout at Tempsford, then north on the A1 to turn at Buckden roundabout after 7.71 miles, then south on the A1 to turn at Sandy roundabout after 19.85 miles, back to Black cat then left onto the Roxton road finishing just over a mile up the road.

Well the morning for me started with heavy fog, right up to almost Tempsford. I figured if the fog cleared it could be a float day. It did clear but it cleared because of an increasing breeze, I was off 96 out of 126, so a nice late start, however the southbound 12 mile stretch wasnt float!

My result was 57min 47sec for equal 38th place at 25.96mph

The winner was Ian Cammish { Planet X } in 52min 20sec at 28.66mph!!

Medway Velo 10 Saturday 2 June - Bashers reports

A 10 mile TT on the Isle of Grain, basically High Halstow to Grain and back on the A228. This is an undulating course, faster out than back, over two level crossings and an almost dead turn halfway. The afternoon was glorious, with abit of a breeze coming of the coast.

I did 22min 56sec avg speed of 26.16mph for 13th place
The winner was K Tye {O.D.L.S. Com Racing} in 21min 21sec avg speed 28.1mph.

May 2007

Norwood Paragon 25 Sunday 13 th May

Phil trys Testing again !
Dave Hickman reports:-

Phil Watkins and I rode this TT- it was not an easy morning but I have seen worse! Phil did a cracking ride while mine was less than awesome. The result was.

Phil Watkins 59:25

Dave Hickman 1:06:3

Steve Dennis won with a middling 54!!

Bashers was a DNS (bad back) as were many others.

Interesting factoids - 2 old Ports have won this event previously - Colin Smith in 96 with a 54.22 and Phil Watkins in 97 (when he was in the Wembley RC) with 54.44.

Today was Phil's first TT since the 90s! Another great ride then Phil!!

April 2007

Addiscome 25 mile TT G25/53 - Sunday 29th April

Bashers 'conkers' again !

Stuart Hourigan reports:

Four of us from the Old Ports entered but only three showed up. Dave probably thought the 7.33 start was a little early after Saturdays lie in. I had the pleasure of being the first Old Port to start at 6.58am. It was another fresh morning requiring 2 pairsof arm warmers, kneewarmers and long gloves. The start down to the first roundabout wasinto a head wind but after the turn the event was quite pleasant until after the final turn with the last few miles into a nasty head
wind. For the last 3/4 mile With tired legs the finish just didn't seem to get any nearer (for me anyway).

Ian and Andy both put in very solid and respectable rides as the course was definately slower than last week, for most people any how.

Ian Bashford - 1hr 1min 25 seconds
Stu Hourigan - 1hr 1min 53 seconds
Andy Green - 1hr 7mins 27 seconds

Winner Michael Hutchinson 51mins 12 seconds (the mans a machine)

Good rides all round well done boys.

Kent Cycles RC Q10/19(shortened course)- Sat 28th April

Our Mighty 'conkerer' tamed !

Stuart Hourigan reports:
This was my first time on this course and it does have its fast moments like I had been warned. There were three entrants from the Old Ports. Ian Bashford went off at some silly minute past the 6am followed 2minutes later by me and then after a lengthy lie in Dave Hickman rolled up for what we think was an afternoon start. The slip road on to the A21 was very fast clocking about 45mph and then the A21 took hold with a 4 or 5mile drag and a rather strong cross wind (maybe the sun was up and the wind gone for Dave). The climb to the round about was tough but after the turn its was 53/11 and no let up all the way home. Unfortunatley the timers at the finish decided to set there stall up a little early on the course meaning we only covered 9. something miles (the talking point for many a week I am sure). Anyway the results are:-

Stuart Hourigan 22 mins 00 secs
Ian Bashford 22mins 31s
(Sorry if its out I don't copy them of the board)
Dave Hickman 23 mins + some seconds

Winner 19 mins +/-
Sorry I dont know maybe one of the others could correct these times.

No I dont have my time mixed up with Ian's, it is correct. Now I wouldn't want to get a reputation for harping on about it but anyone else fancies a go please feel free.

Editorial note/harp: let it not go unmentioned that this is the first time in a long time since Bashers has been slower than another Old Port! So we should give young Stuart a hefty pat on the back!! Great progress Stuart and so early in the season wooo!

The SCCU 25 - 22nd APRIL

'Blinding' rides by the Young and Old Portly Four

Bashers reporting:

This event was run on the Horsham based G25/53 course, starting at Broadbridge Heath. A circular course going to Broadfield roundabout then retraces to the start taking in Tollgate Hill, continuing to turn at Southwater, then returning to Broadbridge Heath.

Well what can I say, it was the old school against the young pretenders. The Old Ports were represented by Iain Hawthorn, Stuart Hourigan, Andy Green and Ian Bashford. It was a glorious morning, very cold early on, so my request for a late start was a good idea! The young pretenders were off as follows:-

Iain Hawthorn 0710hrs very cold 10th off
Stuart Hourigan 0732hrs still very cold 32nd off
Andrew Green 0759hrs a little warmer 59th off

Bashers was off at 0831hrs, when it was quite pleasant , its not what you know etc is it?
The results were:-

Ian Bashford 59.57
Stuart Hourigan 1.2.29
another very good ride
Andy Green 1.6.58 another great time and he won the handicap prize!
Iain Hawthorn 1.08.48
a good time for a first 25

Need I say anything? Great ride by the old worn out vet!!, who is just waiting to hand over that silver ware thats been talked about, by the young chaps.
The winner was Michael Coyle in 53.41

On serious note all three of the guys did blinding rides for various reasons, so they are all to be congratulated, especially Andy for winning the handicap.

West Kent 10 Q10/22 - 20th April

Late 'n' Lumpy

Andy Green reports: .

Having only the vaguest notions of how long it was going to take me
to get to Harrietsham, I assumed that leaving at 5.45 would be fine
for my 7.08 start. Of course it proved wholly inadequate, and I
arrived at the HQ stressing with about 1/2 an hour before my start
time. As Bashers noted 'you're cutting it a bit fine' as I flapped
into the hall at around 6.45 still with no idea where the start was.
I was not cheered either by his and Carole Gandy's references to the
course being a bit 'sporty', and 'worse after the turn'.

Made it to the start in the nick of time, flustered and ill prepared.
Q10/22 is an out a back on a largely straight road, but it is never
flat, and you need to make the most of the fast bits. On balance it
probably was tougher after the turn, but we had the wind behind us
which evened things up, and I had warmed up by then.

I came in at 26.52,Bashers on 24.52. Ian O'Hara and Gary Birch tied
for first place on 21.58. Carole Gandy as first vet on standard with
24.33.

Mike Dongworth from San Fairy Ann, who had come in as 2nd
Vet,suffered chest pains after the event, and was taken to hospital
as a precaution.

Thanks to West Kent who ran a really good event, on a course that is
challenging, but not one to pick if you are after a morale boostingly
quick time.

March 2007

Southern Counties Weekend 10 and 25 TT series Saturday and Sunday24/25 March

Stuart Hourigan does both and Andy Green samples the water in the 25.

Stuart reports onthe 10 miler:

It wasn't very pleasant easpcially with that bl**dy! head wind up
and into Ockley. I blew up just past ockley at about 6 miles but managed to find a very little in the tank towards the end. It is no fun with the 2 riders in front of me not being there (no targets and all that). I struggled home to a very long 27 which was a good 4+ mins behind Pete Tadros (he went off when the wind was calm) thats my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Andy Reports on 25 miler:

Got to use my new TT bike for the first time in anger at Loxwood this morning, as Stuart and me took on the G25/48. It is an interesting route, lots of up and down and twists and turns to keep me awake. Really good to get an event under my belt. The only downer was my time. Had targeted 1.10, missed it by a mile with a 1.18. Stuart kept his end up with 1.08, on a day when Peter Tadros again took the honours with a 57 despite falling off!

East Surrey Hardriders 30 TT

Sunday 11th March

Stuart Hourigan first Old Port off racing.

Stuart reports:-

I started 38th(probably in line with the £1000 prize money), wich incidently is where I finished. I got off to a good start down flanchford road and upto reigate heath even with the local equestrians and some prat in a Merc his best to slow me down. So over the heath past the golf course and flying down the A25, a fast section of the course that must be enjoyed especially with what was lying in wait late on. Well towards the end of the A25 I could see my minute man overtaking a four minute marker. I sailed past these two and turned onto the A24 and straight onto a leg numbing climb. The A24 was about 10 miles of nasty lumpy roads with an equally nasty cross wind to boot. 3/4 of the way down the A24 I was starting to wonder if a 30 was the ideal distance to start the season on especially when John Woodburn and Cristian Yates Sailed past me for 2 and 7 minutes. I got over this and put my head down knowing that what was to come when I turned into rusper road. Well into rusper road and up the 10% climb of hurst hill. On thursday I went for a little cycle around the course so was well aware that this was my last point of trouble but trouble it surely was. First gear, some very heavy breathing and lots of pain in my legs and I manage to crawl over the top. For there on in the ride seemed to become quite pleasent, I was sheilded for the wind by the trees and just did my best to zipp through the rolling lanes with a second wind I had found in the knowledge that home and a cup of tea was only a matter of minutes away. All in it was a painful morning but I am very happy to have my first TT of the season behind me and sadistically look forward to next week.

Winner = P Tadros 1:07:51
Second = S Yates 1:08:16

38th = S Hourigan 1:23:16
